Part I: The Origin of AIFC

35. Minimal AIFC Compliance

1 min read

The minimum level became important.

AIFC needed to say:

What is the lowest responsible starting point?

Minimal AIFC Compliance requires:

  • explicit purpose,
  • values or non-negotiables,
  • human/community owner,
  • basic source of truth,
  • basic classification,
  • AI-NDA Boundary,
  • access control,
  • human review of critical AI outputs,
  • fallback for critical AI-assisted workflows,
  • Human Capability Reserve,
  • AI capacity awareness,
  • AI lock-in awareness,
  • feedback loop,
  • basic AI retrospective,
  • Operational DNA protection,
  • auditability,
  • public responsibility if external-facing,
  • incident path,
  • AI use inventory,
  • improvement roadmap.

The message:

Start simple. Start owned. Start bounded. Start reviewable. Start resilient.

Minimal compliance is not minimal responsibility.

It is the first stable foundation.
