Part I: The Origin of AIFC

42. What AIFC Is

1 min read

AIFC is a standard for communities that want to use AI deeply without losing themselves.

It defines how a community can:

  • know why it exists,
  • express its values,
  • structure its knowledge,
  • maintain source of truth,
  • use AI safely,
  • govern AI autonomy,
  • protect Operational DNA,
  • preserve human capability,
  • process feedback,
  • learn from AI use,
  • interface with other communities,
  • certify maturity,
  • and become readable to humans, agents and software.

AIFC is a response to a world where AI can generate text, code, companies, workflows and decisions faster than humans can review them.

Its answer is not to reject AI.

Its answer is to build communities that can govern acceleration.
